Hezbollah Organizing Ramadan Quranic Circles in Lebanon

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Hezbollah resistance movement has been organizing Quran recitation circles in the Beqaa region of the country since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Prominent qaris from Lebanon and other countries take part in the Quranic programs, which are held in the region’s cities and towns as well as villages, Al-Ahed News reported.

Tamir Hamza, Hezbollah’s cultural official in Beqaa said qaris from Egypt and Iran have joined Lebanese qaris to recite the Quran in the programs.

So far 22 such programs have been organized in this holy month of Ramadan, he stated.

He said there are also other Quranic programs organized in the region in Ramadan that include Quranic workshops and courses on Tarteel and recitation.

These programs have been received well by the people, the official went on to say.

Hamza highlighted Hezbollah’s efforts to promote the Quran in the region and citing one of the achievements made thanks to these efforts, said 158 men and women completed memorizing the Holy Quran.

He noted that the Quranic activities are not limited to the blessed month of Ramadan but are organized throughout the year.
